As a mom, I have experienced many random acts of kindness from others. It seems that whenever I go somewhere with my children, people offer to open doors or let me get on the elevator before they do. Perhaps a few of those kind acts were really a means to get away from my screaming toddler, but nonetheless, I faced the rest of my day feeling much lighter. While God certainly asks us to "do unto others as you would have them do unto you," I find that performing a random act of kindness gives me a surge of energy that no cup of coffee could rival, although I do have to admit that I LOVE a good cup of joe! I can't wait to buy someone (especially another mother) a cup of coffee the next time I am out! And by the way--Caribou Coffee is my absolute favorite coffee ever!
