I am also doing the Becoming the Woman God Wants Me To Be study.

I encourage you to finish this, and work through week 3. Then, after you've finished this study, I HIGHLY recommend doing Donna Partow's Becoming the Woman I Want to Be. It, too is a 90 day journey, but this one focusing on being healthy physically, emotionally AND spiritually. It's a great journey, as well, one that I finished about a month ago, losing 63 pounds (since January). I've lost another 5 since I finished the book, with 32 more to go to my final goal.

I, too, didn't want to go there (into the food area), but I realized that God has a purpose for me, and I can't fulfill it, if I'm not feeling well all the time.

I hope these help you, they have really helped me!!!

(But STOP looking ahead, and worrying about the future, 1 day at a time!!!)

I read a book a few years ago that I thought was the same book "Becoming the Woman God Wants Me To Be", but do not remember any 90 day program. What I do remember is the chapters were divided, by sister, daughter, mother, mother-n-law, etc. that God Wants Me To Be.

That sounds like a good book! Week 3 would be my major struggle too- augh. I know that gluttony is a sin (and one that I think soooo many people struggle with) but it is one where I do some major damage. I have NO self-control when it comes to food. None. Nothing is safe in this house!

I may have to get that book!
.-= Melody´s last blog ..<a href="http://allmysweets.blogspot.com/2009/07/i-talk-lot-to-myself-and-prayer-request.html">I talk a lot. To myself. *And prayer request!!* *UPDATED*</a> =-.
