I have realized…

I’m not one to post on a schedule. I tried doing that and did well for awhile, but not sure what happened. I guess I just don’t have a lot to write about…either that or I’m too busy…I’m going to go with I’m too busy! 4 boys will do that to you…but add in to it the VBS and Bible Studies that I’m doing…it’s amazing I have time to be on my computer as it is!! I’m not making excuses…just stating facts!

Please realize that I do read a lot posts from my friends…I may not always comment, but I do read! I pray you are all doing well!

Grandma

My grandmother isn’t doing so well. She’s been in and out of the hospital for the past few years. The last year has been the worst. When she leaves the hospital, she goes into the nursing home.

Today, she got home from the hospital. They brought Hospice in to care for her in her last days.

Please pray for our family. I’m worried…there are a lot of family members in my dad’s family who are not Christians…some who say they are Christians, but aren’t really walking the walk. There have been battles over things like the house as my grandmother would go in/out of the nursing home. I’m worried this is going to make our family fall apart.

Meeting with School

I had a meeting with Michael’s school today. Oh, I’m so glad it’s over with! I was worried over NOTHING!

The school would like him to continue to meet weekly with the Associate pastor of our church and then anytime he goes into an Elluminate Session (which is an online classroom…aka classroom connect), I have to be there.

The other thing he was going to have to do was write an apology letter to his teacher, but he had done that the day it happened, so we gave that to them right away.

What a relief! And thank you all who were praying for this situation with Michael. God is so gracious and merciful!!

So sad

A 3 year old child in our church was struck by a car and killed today. This breaks my heart. The little girl’s mother is 39 weeks pregnant with their 4th child (1st boy). Mother and her older sister were there to witness the whole accident.

Please pray for this family. They need all the prayer support they can get right now!

Update

I know I haven’t blogged in a while. Things have been really crazy around here, dealing with Michael’s school stuff, 2 bible studies (1 requiring homework…I hate homework), and Spring is here…or something close to Spring. So I have been getting out of the house while the weather is good!

We had family visit this past weekend and take us out for out birthday (mine…which was on the 22nd, Daniel, & Andrew’s…which was on the 16th). Then we all went shopping…none of us got anything though, no one really wanted to shop! How funny is that??

Anyway, onto some sad news…

A close friend of our family passed away yesterday. It’s very sad, she was a wonderful woman who loved the Lord and loved serving Him! She was very involved in Koinonia (that’s how we met her). When we moved away, we always kept in touch with her and her husband.

After the twins were born, we decided to invite her to their dedication…I guess we looked at her as part of our family. When she came, she was so skinny…2 weeks after their dedication, she was diagnosed with cancer. She has been fighting cancer for this long (Daniel & Andrew got dedicated before they were 1 and are now 3). Last night, the battle was over, she went home to the Lord and she is now whole! I’m excited that she is no longer in pain and in heaven, but it saddens me that she is gone.

Well, that’s my update…
