My Sunday School classroom is in desperate need of decorating!!
The classroom name is Alligator Alley…K-1
I have grey/brown (somewhere in between those colors) colored walls.
I was wanting to do something on my bulletin board and on the Walls (posters or cut-outs…no painting) and the door. Oh and there’s also a white board that I could decorate around. And cubby holes that I want to have a neat label for each child’s name…along with some sort of attendance record.
I need help! Any ideas??

I will let you know if I come up with any ideas my friend.
Come by my blog, I have two awards for you. I love you.
I don’t know if you have already decorated your Sunday school room but I just remembered the other day something I did in my classroom when I used to teach science, so I thought I would share it with you!
I did a unit once on the rainforest and basically created a rainforest habitat within the room. I covered the walls with “vines” I made using twisted-up brown butcher paper and then attached huge “leaves” made from green paper. I made all kinds of animals you would find in the rainforest and then attached them to the appropriate places. (birds in the trees, etc.) I had the “trees” go up all the way to the ceiling and even on the ceiling itself so the kids felt like they were in a rainforest. They loved it!
When I did a space unit, I basically used the same concept and created a solar system within the classroom. The idea is the create a new world within the room so that they are immersed in the environment.
I honestly don’t know much about alligators and their habitats, but it would be cute to do the same idea! I’m sure the kids would really get into it!
Blessings!
