Rough..

We’ve had a couple of rough days…homeschooling. Michael has fought me every step of the way. He should be doing his work, yet he sits there and plays. Yesterday we didn’t do a thing! 
Today hasn’t started out so well either!
I’m not sure what to think of this. I’m beginning to doubt my abilities of teaching him at all. I know it doesn’t help when Noah is home from school because of snow, but I still need to teach Michael!
I think it’s coming up on that “time” of the month too. I tend get very moody around that time. I don’t think it’s right, but I do know that is what’s going on.
*sigh*

I’m not sure if this will be a help, but I had similar issues when I first started with J. I’d say ‘it’s time for school’ and she’d say ‘no, not today’. I finally consulted a friend and she said she had similar issues with her youngest to the point she commanded the spirit of rebelion out of him!
With J I’d tell her ‘fine, go stand in the corner/go to your room/whatever and when dad gets home you can explain to him why you didn’t do your school work for today’. I’d also explain how the Bible tells children to obey their parents in all things and when she disobeyed me she was also disobeying God.
